Happy New Year!

I can not believe it is 2020. I blinked and 2019 happened.  My question for you is: do you have any goals this year?  What do you anticipate happening this year?  You can always rely on change to occur.  What changes do you want to make this year? 

Let’s make this a year of keeping our resolutions.  Do you want to be healthier this year? 

I am going to give you some simple suggestions for goals you can keep. 


  1. Take time each day to do the stabilization exercises you have been taught.  Even if it’s just 15 minutes, it’s a start and your progress will be cumulative. 

  2. Start walking. Remember to perform a small Kegal, Abdominal Brace, then another Kegal to 30% then walk briskly moving your arms to activate your oblique abdominal muscles. 

  3. Drink more water. Start with two large glasses first thing upon waking, this is so healthy for your organs and greatly absorbed.  Buy yourself a fun cup to drink out of.  I love adding vitamin C drinks from Whole Foods to my water.  Other people like to add lemon. 

  4. Read more. Make a list of 10 books you want to read this year and set aside sometime before bed to read them. 

  5. Enjoy where you live. The metro Atlanta area and the surrounding suburbs have a lot to offer.  Get out and enjoy where you live. 

  6. Laugh more.  Even when life throws you curveballs, remember that there is still usually something to smile about.
