School is back in session. I can not believe it. Let’s make this school year, the best one yet. School can be more stressful on our children than we realize, both physically and emotionally. There is a lot of pressure on children to do well. I want to give you some tips to help your children.
Make sure they wear supportive shoes, (there are 3 simple tests you can do to determine if a shoe is supportive that Dr. Fowler can teach you).
Use a rolling backpack or a backpack that offers sturdy support such as the Airpack Backpack.
Check the sugar content and artificial dyes in their snacks and drinks, (both can interfere with their ability to concentrate).
Encourage your children to wash their hands often. This is the best way to prevent germs from spreading.
Tell your kids not to share combs, hats, or drinks with friends.
Make sure they have some time in their schedule to relax. Kids need a break too.
Encourage your children to use good posture when sitting at their desk. It is easy to hunch over when you are bored in class.
Schedule them for a tune-up with Dr. Fowler to make sure their muscles are balanced and their spine is aligned to better handle postural stress.
I hope your children have a school year filled with dear friends, knowledge, and opportunities for growth. Happy Learning!
