7 Tips for a Healthier You

Do you want to be your best self? This comes from putting effort into your career, health, family, and social life. It is all integrated. One simple aspect can put a halt to all of this. If you are in pain or become ill, you can not do everything you seek out to accomplish. The best way to accomplish all of your goals is to focus on your health. 


You have a purpose and you can not fulfill that purpose if you do not take care of yourself. If you are weak, you can not be strong for others. It is as simple as that. Keep reading for some tips to keep you running on a full tank instead of empty. 


  1. Make sure you get quality sleep. See more tips for healthy sleep.

  2. Drink lots of water. 60% of your body is made up of water. Keep it replenished. 

  3. Exercise. Find some form of exercise. Your body will thank you. Run, do some yoga or pilates. If Dr. Fowler has taught you any exercises. Be sure to do those in addition to another form of exercise. 

  4. Take time to unplug from electronic devices and just relax. It is easy to become overwhelmed by the pressures of work and home life. 

  5. Make time to go see your doctor. They can rule out anything before a sickness progresses. That includes your chiropractor too. Dr. Fowler can help prevent any issues from developing further via quarterly tune-ups. Just like your car, your body needs maintenance care as well. 

  6. Sticking to car analogies, the type of fuel you put in your car matters. The same goes for your body. Be mindful of what you eat. Processed foods put stress of your gut and your joints. 

  7. Count your blessings. A positive attitude does help your immune system stay strong.
