Dr. Fowler has achieved board certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics granted through the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).

This degree is achieved by taking a four year post graduate program, passing interim examinations and then sitting the boards both written and oral. Once board certified a chiropractic orthopedists can properly evaluate and treat joint instability that does not require surgical stabilization. If a patient presents with instability in a joint, this has to be artificially stabilized until the natural soft tissue healing has occurred.

Examples of conservative orthopedic management would be taping a sprained ankle, supports for plantar Fasciitis/heel spur syndrome, bracing and supports for low back instability, tennis and golfer's elbow, cervical collars post whiplash, back supports for chairs in cars and at work/home, proper pillows, corrective foot orthotics, teaching patients how to pick the right shoes, and advice on bedding.
