Dr. Fowler has had the great fortune to study with the great Czech neurologists and manual medicine practitioners Karel Lewit, Vladimir Janda and Pavel Kolar. Four times his studies with these inspiring doctors took him to Prague and ten additional times he studied with them in the states. The conferences are attended by chiropractors, physical therapists, and medical doctors invited from around the world joined together for the common purpose of improving their manual medicine skills. This has led to full certification in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) according to Kolar.
Prague is a beautiful city with many stone buildings that are centuries old. All throughout the historic sections of town are castles, palaces and cathedrals. All the streets in the historic section are cobblestone and the sidewalks are quartz cubes placed in geometric patterns. The people are wonderful as is the food and beer.
The top picture is Prof. Pavel Kolar, PhD (lab coat) and Alena Kobesova, MD (striped red shirt). The second picture is of Pavel, Zuzana Holubkova, PT, me, and my daughter Shannon in Prof. Kolar's office at the Motol Clinic in Prague.
If you would like to see additional pictures of Prague or have questions about the city, I would be happy to oblige you.
